Limited edition Spore unveiled
Comes with Making Of video, shockingly.
Electronic Arts has revealed forthcoming evoution sim Spore will be available as a limited edition, or Galactic Edition as it's being titled.
For GBP 44.99 (that's GBP 5 more than the vanilla version) you'll get a special box containing a Making Of DVD, a hardback "mini-book" about the art of Spore, a fold-out poster and a 100-page "Galactic Handbook". Plus there's a DVD documentary by the National Geographic Channel titled How to Build a Better Being.
"The Spore Galactic Edition is the ultimate backstage pass for the Spore universe," said Maxis man Patrick Buechner. "It's an incredible collection of art, video and behind-the-scenes access to the development team for fans, along with some of the coolest, most collectable packaging in years."
Spore, in case you've forgotten, has been developed by Sims creator Will Wright. It allows you to design your own penis monster, sorry creature, from scratch and eventually develop an entire civilisation.
Both the Galactic and regular editions will be available for PC on September 5th, along with Mac, DS and mobile phone versions. There's plenty to see over on the gamepage.
