Hidden option in Bionic Commando demo

Practice swinging around in private.

Capcom has highlighted the fact that there's a private match option lurking in the Xbox 360-exclusive Bionic Commando multiplayer demo released last week.

Sounds a bit boring, but it's relevant if you're struggling to get your head around the swing mechanic, because it means you can practice without being killed repeatedly.

According to the Capcom blog, you should go to the options screen (press start on the main menu), then get a friend to send you an invite and accept it, and say no when it asks if you want to exit your current game.

This deposits you on a private match screen, although Capcom says you shouldn't mess with the game mode or frag limit options or it will crash the demo.

Bionic Commando is due out for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 22nd May, with a PC version set to follow in July. Check out our most recent hands-on preview to see how it's shaping up in single-player.
