Fresh GTA IV clip next week

Internet goes bananas.

Rockstar wants to make our Christmas by releasing a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV next week.

Specifically it will be available to watch on Thursday 6th December at 1500 EST (2000 GMT), and is called "Move up, ladies". Perhaps we will get a glimpse at the love interests in Liberty City then, or maybe just an eyeful of mouthy streetwalkers.

If you are too excited to wait until next then, you may want to pop over to the official site to see a bunch of streetwise painters spray the freshly unveiled box art onto a wall. It looks just like the other games to me.

Until then, saunter like an up and coming Eastern European gangster into our Grand Theft Auto IV: The Story So Far feature to find out what else has happened.

*prepares himself for the barrage of "graphics don't look great" comments and other remarks putting down the game.

I thought there was going to be no way of flying in the game???

On the GTA website it shows a helicopter on what looks like the box art

There are no airplanes in the game, but there are helicopters

Hmmm, shame but should still be good

After playing GTA:VCS my faith in the GTA franchise is restored.

But i swear to god if it has that retarded draw distance as the GTA:VCS I'll refuse to buy this game for sure, it's started to piss me off in VCS.

this is going to be one heck of a single player experience. i hope R* will put some nice multiplayer in the pot, too. i look forward to seeing the new gameplay mechanics(i heard something about covering and new aiming system) as well as some new inventory options(Nico will use a bag just like Bauer). i think very highly of this game and i believe that R* will deliver....

Many greetings from Greece, fellow EGers!

    Hello Greece :)

I thought games were banned over there or am I thinking of something else?

Some nice looking screenshots I've not seen before over on that official website...

How could games be banned in Greece, they created the Olympics for Pete's sake.
  • RichGL #11 5 years ago

    The naked Olympics no less.

actually there are games in greece and many gamers as well! the only downside here is that there are some quite old laws that, more or less, consider video games and online gaming to be gambling. there have been some steps forward the last 2-3 years as broadband internet came here. all i have to say is that we greeks have a lot way in front of us to reach the european standards in gaming services. however we are very good market considering consoles and software that comes along them, and companies know that, so we play the same games as fellow UK gamers do! For example, GTAs arrived here at the same time as the rest of Europe.

mmmm....i've kinda put this one to the back of my mind since the delay. Considering we won't see it till at least April 08 i'm gonna keep it that way.

i'm hoping that the video will appear on 360 marketplace - should be nice in HD
  • Johnson #15 5 years ago

It'll appear nice and smooth on Xbox Live but horribly stuttery on the PS3.
  • wewillselfdestruct #16 5 years ago

But it'll stop half way through on the 360 when it runs out of storage space ;)

After the last, rediculously underwhelming, video they released, I can't get too excited by the prospect of another one.
Haven't we all moved on from Gangstas and Hos, all that jazz? It's as tiresome as the massive stream of FPS with have had to put up with recently.
    Where's the facking originalty?
