EGTV: Exclusive Ratchet vids

All the way to the Clank.

Eurogamer TV today is proud to announce the birth of video triplets in the shape of three exclusive gameplay vignettes from the PS3-exclusive platform-shooter with the unnecessarily long name, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction.

After the underwhelming launch title, Resistance: Fall of Man, Insomniac Games has gone back to what it does best for its next outing on Sony's must-have-starved system: running and jumping with guns, but with a sense of humour and without all that unpleasant business with the Church.

Of the three video teasers on offer today across the Eurogamer Empire, on our very own EGTV, there's a montage of SIXAXIS shenanigans, underwater gameplay and a look at the brilliant Groovitron.

Over on Eurogamer.fr, meanwhile, you can see one of the larger-scale battles in Tools of Destruction, plus a look at the Gelanator gun: sod portals, it's all about the jelly.

Finally, our German brothers-in-arms offer up a glimpse of the early action sequences in the game, including more SIXAXIS-wielding motion-controls and slick running-and-gunning.

Tools of Destruction is out in Europe on November 9th, and we'll bring you our full review very soon indeed.

Was Resistence underwhelming? As far as I know people are still playing it in clan matches and tournaments...

I thought this said "exclusive racist vids" for a second there. I mean we've all seen loco Roco, right?

Resistance scored very well overall, and is a great game. My cop of this just arrived and I'm going to play now.

EG, you are starting to get extremely boring with the Resistance comments:-(

You're both spot on. Resistance is great and very much maligned.

It's superb in multiplayer. Not least becuase it's actually a friendly and inclusive environment, without 17 year olds screaming 'die n00b' at you continually.

Yeah but Single Player was largely mediocre. For a lot of people that is still the most important part of a game.

I really enjoyed single and multi-player. Also co-op is great fun. I'm really hoping there is online co-op in the next one. Easy 9/10 from me.

Which is more than you can say for Perfect Dark Zero

Yeah ... that's why they gave Halo2 and 3 such good scores because the single player campaigns were so overwhelmingly brilliant right?

Can you really call capturing some video from a game that's already out an "EXCLUSIVE" video??

That word kinda suggests something else, namely footage recieved from the developer before the game is out and no other site has it. That situation is worth calling exclusive and making a big deal about.
