Eurogamer TV Show: Episode 19

PS3 joy, FPS hell and WWE asphyxiation.

Couple of fantastic PS3 exclusives doing the rounds. As far as opening statements go, that isn't one we've often felt compelled to write thus far. But on the games side, that's precisely the case right now. And for the aforementioned "couple" we have Sony stalwarts Insomniac and Naughty Dog to thank.

Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction doesn't reinvent the wheel, but who cares when it's this much fun? And as for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, it takes something pretty special to get Kristan gushing: "the first must-have PlayStation 3 title."

From December 7th, it will officially be a "can-have" title for Europeans. Before then, Episode 19 of The Eurogamer TV Show takes an in-depth look at both of these PS3-exclusive beauties, with our very own Ellie on roving-reporter duties deep in the bowels of a Croatian castle, of all places.

A multiplatform game that recently impressed is Clive Barker's Jericho. Yes, it's yet another first-person shooter. But, as the name implies, it's creatively first-and-foremost the product of one of the most sordid minds in entertainment. EGTV was lucky enough to spend an hour in the company of Barker - and came away pleasanlty surprised by the man's passion for, and unflinching belief in, gaming as something other than just a way to make him more money. Fancy that.

And check out the interview in today's Show for confirmation of a sequel and a hint at what to expect. It sounds a bit like Captain Birdseye meets Resident Evil on the Titanic.

Finally, EGTV catches up with a true WWE superstar, who tries to choke us to death. It's all in a day's work for Episode 19 of The Eurogamer TV Show, now showing.
