Dragon Ball finally goes PS3, 360

Burst Limit. How apt.

Atari has decided it's about time Dragon Ball Z moved onto PS3 and Xbox 360. So it has, and Atari will release it this year.

Burst Limit will be the first fighting game in the series to tackle the new hardware, bringing usual boasts of online battles and much fancier visuals. Also, lightning fast action.

Otherwise this is simply Dragon Ball Z. Name sound familiar? It should; DBZ is a Japanese anime series that has been recreated into over 25 games since 2002.

Total worldwide sales: over 10 million. Atari bread and butter, you could say.

The most recent to be released was Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on PS2, which will be ported to Wii early this year.

If you're not fussed about Dragon Ball Z then probably best avoided. Even those who like it will find it a tough and often unrewarding slog, even if it is a competent enough game. Slug over to our Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 review for more.

I loved DBZ but this is ridiculous. People need to let it go.
Some people are still waiting for the mythical Dragonball AF for crying out loud.

I've started watching Naruto, first 2 episodes were okay but episodes 3-5 had in me in stitches, didn't expect it to be so funny.

DBZ is dead, died when DBZ finished I will never accept that DBGT exists.

hehe I on the other hand only accept up to the destruction of namek and the end of the fight with freeza. after that it sucked. how many time will an enemy recreate it's self. plus the dragon casted for rez spells than a level 70 priest in wow. Dragonball plain for the win. Z and GT sucked for me

I loved Dragonball and DBZ. Haven't touched GT and i really don't want to.

The thing is that this anime lends itself for the perfect arcade-adventure game, but they keep making crappy or semi-crappy fighter games for it...

Oh well, hope dies last as we say in Greece.

Looks mreh. Always loved DBZ, was my main TV show throughout the noughties. But I'm really fed up of seeing every DBZ game recreate the exact same events from the anime. Frieza was a fag. DBGT sucked so much. There will not be a DBAF. Naruto rules.

Most people who like DbZ wish it had stopped after the Frieza Saga so you're by no means alone guys :/

Although I will admit to liking the Garlic Jr. Saga, just because Gohan going mental and blowing shit up is always good for a giggle.
