Digimon MMO for Westerners in March
Collect virtual pets in a virtual world.
WeMade Entertainment will open the Digimon MMO to a US audience next month.
Open beta details and exact launch timings will be announced soon, according to the the Digimon Battle Twitter account.
Digimon Battle is the Western revamp of Digimon RPG, a free-to-play Korean MMO that has been around since 2002, according to our extensive research on Wikipedia. You'll play a Digimon trainer and collect and train cyber-pets to fight baddies for you.
There's a newly released official trailer on YouTube to watch and a vibrant and not at all annoying teaser website to explore. You can also keep track of the game on Facebook.

It's shocked me that with Neopets being THAT big over here for what seems like forever now, it's taken Digital Devil Saga and Digimon to take this long to be brought overseas, hope unlike DDS this one at least isn't completely 'pve'.

Hopefully this will give them the kick up the ass they need to do that and hopefully they'll bring out a Pokémon (yay! I put a squiggle on my letter 'e') game for the Wii... I doubt it though. They seem happy with it on the DS (where I have to admit it's a good fit).
