D3 quiet on Puzzle Quest Wii
Retailer rouses speculation.
D3Publisher has kept tight-lipped over rumours that Puzzle Quest will be heading to Wii.
It was speaking (or rather, declining to speak) in the aftermath of the game appearing on Amazon.com at a budget price of USD 24.99 for a projected September launch.
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords was a surprise hit for DS and PSP earlier this year. It's a cross between a role-playing game and a Jewel Quest-style puzzle outing - a blend that earned a hearty cheer from yours truly. Tom wouldn't stop harping on about what level his druid was for weeks. It was like Viva Piņata all over again.
Its obvious success and the interest surrounding it prompted both PC and Xbox Live Arcade versions to be developed - leaving the prospect of a Wii offering far from surprising.

PC demo was first, then DS and PSP. In fact they still haven't done a full PC one. If this comes out on the PC, I'll be getting it (I already have the PSP version)

Great game though, despite those minor issues (and the fiddly "out of battle" interfaces)
