April LBP goodies revealed, dated
Updates! Creator tools! Costumes!
Sony has revealed its schedule for new LittleBigPlanet downloadable content in April.
The highlight of the month is the Cornish Yarg update, according to the US PlayStation blog, that boasts new features and fixes. Sony has given this a provisional date of 16th April - the same day a Monkey King outfit will be offered.
Arriving today, however, are Rag Doll Kung Fu and Patapon costume packs. The former costs USD 5.99 (UK/EU pricing to come) and bulges with five outfits; the latter costs USD 1.99 and has a single, circular-eyed get-up for Sackboy to wear.
A free Creator Pack will arrive on 23rd April (provisional date) to help people make levels, alongside a Heavenly Sword costume pack that costs three bucks.
Then, on 27th April, there will be a mini Egyptian Mythology costume pack for three dollars, followed a week later by a bundle of Norse-themed, also for three smackers.
Each of the costume packs contains lots of themed stickers, too.
Those should keep you busy.

I enjoy LBP, but these packs are hugely overpriced.

It just bugs me when you have to buy it, to continue playing online to any decent level.

Refused point-blank to pay for any of the LBP downloads so far, rip-off.

Same thing that happens to most companies sooner or later (one notable exception seeming to be Microsoft): The laws of Economics.
