All new Overlord games due on same day

Codemasters confirms June launch.

Codemasters has clarified to Eurogamer that all new Overlord games will be released on 26th June.

That includes Overlord II on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as Overlord: Dark Legend on Wii and Overlord: Minions on DS.

We've just this minute published a preview of the latter two. You might like to read it.

The Overlord series follows the eponymous anti-hero as he directs his minion army through do-gooder lands, either enslaving or destroying them - each path offering unique advantages. Importantly, though, there is no good option.

    Should be a good day!

    I know they've mentioned it, but I really do hope they've improved the "evilness" of the game. No game yet has got it good enough.

    After the very-good-but-not-too-taxing gaming of the first one, I'm really looking forward to this. Definitely a good choice for a lazy Sunday afternoon, because sometimes you just don't fancy being a space marine.

    Loved the first one and can't wait for the sequel. Good to see it's once again being released in the Summer, it's the kind of game that would be unfairly overlooked if released at a more busy time and it will give me at least one game to play in the summer games draught.
