Bungie has said all downloadable Halo 3 maps will be included with ODST later this year, including the upcoming Mythic map pack and the three exclusive expansion levels.

The Bungie website says all standard Halo 3 multiplayer maps will be stuffed inside ODST, too.

This makes Bungie's decision to add no further content to Halo 3 after the Mythic Map Pack and expansion ODST more palatable.

We've been treated to two map packs so far: Heroic and Legendary. The Mythic Map Pack will be a free extra for people buying the collector's edition of Halo Wars on 27th February, before being released as DLC on Xbox Live Marketplace shortly afterwards.

Bungie also released a free Cold Storage map on 7th July last year.

That makes it seem like a reasonable deal then. I feared it feel like half a game, but that's enough maps to make it playable enough, should you be the kind of crazy person that wants this but didn't want Halo 3. Like me.

Haha, how retarded. I was going to get the Halo Wars special edition mainly for the extra maps but considering ODST will have them anyway I may as well not bother!

I�m not sure I like the look of that Shopto preorder advert, �37.98? You what?? I thought this was going to be offered as both DLC and a boxed version, if that cost is representative of the final build, both boxed and DL, then I shall be less inclined to purchase it. I hope that�s just a placeholder price as nothing has been announced yet! Has it?

Bungie should spend more time concentrating on making a proper Halo sequel - Halo 3 was lots of left overs from 2, that they couldn't fit in at that time for release on XB1. Halo 3 was a let down esp single player. This seems like a quick cash in, probably the same formula & graphics engine, but, no Master Chief.

Just a different character playing the same game with a new lick of paint - just a smaller game!
