PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD, the enhanced Vita version of Q-Game's beloved 2008 tower defense title, is due in Europe on 31st July for £9.99 / €12.99, developer Double Eleven has announced.
North American folks receive it one day earlier for $14.99.
The definitive version of PixelJunk Monsters will add touch controls, new trophies, and add-ons like the encore level pack. It will also contain both ad-hoc and online co-op.
Prior to working on this spruced up port, Double Eleven worked on carrying over such critically acclaimed games as Limbo and LittleBigPlanet onto the Vita.
Back in 2008 ex-EG oldboy Kristan Reed spoke highly of the original game where he said it "plays a bit like some forgotten 16-bit gem" in his PixelJunk Monsters review.
