Comes with Move steering wheel add-on.

It looks like LittleBigPlanet Kart Racing is on its way to PlayStation 3.

A Tweet from US online retailer FutureShop stated that the title was announced earlier today at a Sony "Destination PlayStation" event, alongside a new Move steering wheel peripheral.

Sony hasn't offered an official confirmation that the game exists, but the event definitely took place and Sackboy was in attendance.

"Destination Playstation done. Got inappropriately touched by Sackboy," read a Tweet from Ken Levine, whose BioShock Infinite also appears to have been on show.

We'll update as more information comes in.

I really don't get why people think Modnation Racers should be the only cart game on PS3. If I recall correctly, there were lots of Cart games on PS1 and PS2 and quiet frankly I would love to see what MM can do that Modnation hasn't.

If it gets casual gamers into LBP2, then okay. If it's got nothing to do with Media Molecule, and it's clearly a franchise-whoring cash-in: NO.

This may seem very similar but it could actually be a sort of sequel so could be better but it probably wouldn't be viewed as one seeing as it doesn't seem to be advertised as one so would probably have less sales

My initial thought was the "Modnation Racers" one, but...

There is defiantly a gap for a decent PS3 Cart game. Whilst good, Modnation didn't quite make it.

I'm thinking LBP using all of the costumes that it has amassed: Sackboy vs Nathan Drake vs Sepiroth vs Miss Piggy

It could be good.

Does anyone else remember Speed Freaks coming out the same month as Crash Team Racing? I'm happy to see Sony produce several Kart racers at once, so long as one of them turns out to be exemplary (which Modnation hasn't been, in my view).

I was wondering when this was gonna come about. I always thought they'd release a little big kart or whatever.
But please, please, pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase, make it so you can have 'X' as accelerate. I'm of the old school generation and am incapable of using 'R2' to move. It's what put me off Modnation.
