RuneScape Clan Citadels expansion today
"The envy of the MMO world."
The gigantic Clan Citadels expansion has been released for RuneScape, Jagex has announced.
This allows guilds/clans to build their own floating city - a castle in the sky where you can meet, greet and even make your own RuneScape games using a sandbox battlefield editor. You can even invite other clans over for war and cake.
Any clan with five or more members can take ownership of a Citadel.
Citadels are customisable, and there are seven tiers to upgrade through, each unlocking more space, 'skilling zones', portal grounds, meeting areas, a senate, dragon perch and party room.
"The popularity of our in-game clans is staggering, with more than 1.3 million players signing up since our last clan update in April and, as you would expect, the level of anticipation for this update is unprecedented," commented RuneScape vice president Daniel Clough.
"Our ambitious plan has always been to make RuneScape's clan support the envy of the MMO world, and we are confident that Clan Citadels can do just that."
Clan Citadels.

I wouldn't... Damn nostalgia goggles!
I went back and tried it after five years of not playing. I don't think it's as good.

Plenty of stuff to do, cheap subscription. It's as interesting as you make it to be honest. Sure chopping tree etc is boring, go do a PVP minigame instead.
