Nelson reveals XBL release schedule

Crackdown DLC! Hydrophobia! And so on.

Major Nelson has listed a bundle of Xbox Live release dates over on his blog.

There you'll see that some Crackdown 2 downloadable content is due to arrive tomorrow, followed by add-ons for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age on 7th September. Some Snoop Dog tracks will appear in the Rock Band store the same day.

Plants vs. Zombies is coming to Xbox Live Arcade on 8th September alongside Dance! It's Your Stage. Sonic Adventure will follow a week later, priced at 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80 in the old money).

Looking ahead, Hydrophobia will arrive on 29th September followed by Comic Jumper the following week. Both games are priced at 1200 Points (£10.20). From 13th October you'll be able to buy tables for Pinball FX 2, while Super Meat Boy will debut on the 20th. Pricing for the game is to be decided.

Which is all fine, but when's Tokyo Jungle out?

Nice, looking forward to Hydrophobia. Seem to be liking arcade releases more than the retail games these days. Don't have too much of a problem paying 1200 for some of these but if they go up to 1600 then I really will think twice.

XBLA continues to be awesome. Treasure's new Bangai-O HD was announced yesterday too.

The xbla games these days are so good their easily worth 1200 points. They do compete with full retail games imo.

£10.20 for PvS on XBLA when I paid £1.79 for the iPhone version? I guess it must be at least 5-6x better on 360!

    @woodnotes - Bangai-O HD... Nice.

Nothing much to look forward to then. Was hoping for news on Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet...so where the fudge is it? Hydrophobia is the kind of game i'd only buy on disc, never heard of comic jumper, Pinball 2..meh, got the first one which I rarely play anyways, meat boy could be interesting even if it is a spruced up flash game.

Im in a mood this morning :(

Any news on King of Fighters 2002 UM? Been waiting on this for ages.

There is far far too much good quality stuff on XBLA now for most people to afford the time and money for. They really should start making discounts and promotions regularly, they would probably make a fortune.

    Bangai O HD... aweeeesome!

    *dances*

Xardan - I totally agree. Everyone I know on Steam waits for sales before buying.

Still in 2 minds about Sonic Adventure, I know its set at 4:3 when I would rather 16:9 but if I can stretch it grand, was the only 3D sonic game I really liked and my DC is not working properly atm so this is the next best thing.
The only mistake is its out the day after Halo:Reach.. then again if I play Reach for 24 hours straight this might be a nice change of pace for an hour or two ;-)

Just to add, Bangai-O HD sold!!
Loved that (DC as well), the game is utterly bonkers and all the better for it!
Crazy taxi too and a host of other good games, keep it coming :-D

"Super Meat Boy will debut on the 20th. Pricing for the game is to be decided."

So that'll be 1200 points then.

Looking forward to SMB but unless this Game Feast thing has a rebate offer similar to the Summer of Arcade I might hold off and see what price the WiiWare version is.Getting sick of virtually every XBLA game costing 1200 points now
