Hotel Dusk due in April

Room for all.

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is due for release on 13th April, Nintendo said today, following its launch in the US at the end of last year.

Made by the same lot that did Another Code: Two Memories, Room 215 is an adventure title that is played with the DS held like a book, with the touch-screen used to pick through the players surroundings.

Generally the touch-screen offers 3D navigation while the top-screen shows a map, but when you close in on something you want to investigate you can swap over the screens and check objects of interest.

Obviously you can expect to be solving puzzles as you go, taking the role of retired New York cop Kyle Hyde, who finds himself exploring a mysterious hotel in the desert where all is not as it seems.

You'll be able to find out what all actually is when we pick Room 215 apart in the near future, but in the meantime there's a gallery of intriguing shots to scour for evidence.
