Dead or Alive 5+ Vita out at the end of March, has Cross-Play, Cross-Save and runs at 60fps

New touch-screen controls enable close-up first-person perspective.

Dead or Alive 5+ releases on PS Vita on 22nd March, Tecmo Koei Europe has announced.

It has Cross-Play, so Vita players can fight online against PS3 players and vice versa. Both versions run at a silky smooth 60 frames per second, too.

DLC content can be shared between the PS3 and Vita. Tecmo Koei said it will have released over 100 costumes by the end of January, so if you buy them for the PS3 version you can use them on Vita and vice versa.

And you can share save data between both versions, too.

The Vita version has new touch-screen controls, so you can trigger attacks with taps. Characters react based on where they are touched or attacked during a fight, apparently, and you can hold your Vita vertically so you can play from a close-up first-person perspective.
