They can change whatever they want about the Xbox One. The fact that they was prepared to screw the customer to benefit themself means I won't be forgiving and forgetting just yet. PS4 preordered, unsure if or when I will ever get a One. Reply+4
So now people may be able to add racist to the list of negative things to say about Microsoft. Like I said here before, this is not shooting themself in the foot. It really looks like the Xbox division is trying to destroy itself. Reply+2
Question- what about Blu Rays and DVDs I buy in this country if I happened to import one? Would any of those not work? Honestly though, I might stick with a PAL one. Support is a given that way, iPlayer I recall only works on UK accounts on UK consoles. Reply0
I was surprised at the price I must admit, no chance can I afford that anytime soon. I am keen to see what Sony say in response about their online requirements and price. Not expecting much less, but guessing their camera is one area of saving compared to the new Kinect. Reply+3
I sense Kojima (the man or the company) at work here, messing with our minds. "Snake" seems too broad a term in 1984, Outer Heaven (MG1) takes place 11 years after apparently so at that time there will be the 3 sons around. I can't see any advanced ageing process for the sons becoming adults so David (Solid) would perhaps be an early teen at that time, Solidus older I would imagine but can't say how much.
In short, I am not counting Hayter out of a role just yet. With 3 clones of Big Boss around any one of them could sound similar to their dad from the 60s. Reply+2
Never mind shooting themself in the foot, really sounds like Microsoft should be monitored as a suicide risk. What else can they do to annoy potential customers - XBL Gold price increase?
Personally I find E3 to be a bigger deal than Christmas and this year Microsoft feels a bit of a Grinch. Perhaps they can get their act together. Reply+3
I will be watching E3 events with more anticipation than usual then. Give me some Faith please EA. I meant that as in the playable character and the feeling of EA being different to a bunch of greedy, selfish... Reply0
Isn't what we know a bunch of ifs and maybes since Microsoft have said very little thus far? I fully expect things in the article to be true, but at present they are not facts. Reply+1
@INSOMANiAC Normally I would agree, they can easily just incorporate a manual into the game but at times I find the info lacking. I'm not asking for high quality videos, just decent explanations.
Online passes removal is a good thing, but something will still exist. Something perhaps like free DLC for first time buyers and don't forget micro transactions now Reply0
I just discovered and played Operation GHOST in the arcade recently, hope it becomes a console port for their next report but I pray not Wii U exclusive. Reply0
I love EVE, feel so out of my depth however. What I would really be interested in though is something more space combat. A mode similar to Titan from BF2142 where you spawn on your command ship and either stay to defend it or fly out to attack. Reply0
@andrewsqual I was thinking that as well, since the ME3 Citadel DLC is basically 2 different 2 gig downloads. But then I figure some of the Games on Demand are over 2 gig, perhaps there is an exception for titles that have been released on disc Reply+1
Honestly, I see more appeal in putting the £ towards the ps4 or microsoft's still unannounced machine. Price seems irrevelant because my want factor just is not there. Reply+4
Only things I pre-order now are CEs I really want. Consider me fed up of crappy tactics I guess. I will be surprised though if this succeeds, anything is subject to change until data is put on the disc really. Reply+5
Kind of makes sense I suppose being a younger Batman, but depends really on the time gap betweeen AO and AA. If it's couple of years then I will question the voice change, but close to a decade then I can let it slide. Reply+1
Sounding like a confirmation of sorts to me of some online neccessity. Now I feel PS4 being my preference, but Mass Effect for me is on the Xbox so importing to the next game, like Bioware seemed to suggest likely, could be a problem. Reply-16
My theory is this is an older Big Boss and thus not have David as the voice. Could Solid Snake have been born whilst Big Boss is in the coma or slightly after? I wouldn't be surprised to see a brief cameo in some form. Reply+1
Thinking about it today, my issue with the PS4 is cost. Significant HDD, headset, camera, arguably more expensive controller than the DS3 will all add to it surely. That is the only reason I don't get one before the end of 2014 and I will be interested in what SCE say at E3. Reply0
