  But will they actually learn from being so close to oblivion, why it actually got to that stage and not let this happen again? I doubt it.
  
  GAME have a decent offer or two up their sleeve every now and again through their website but aside from that I think they are the same as they were pre-administration and can see the same happening again eventually. Reply +3

• Games of 2012: Far Cry 3

  The surprise hit for 2012 for me. I hope this makes Ubisoft and their developers realise that if they put a lot of effort in to a game they will be rewarded with good reviews and sales. Very pleased for them and hope thry carry this on into the next round of consoles.
  
  I think they have recently been learning their lesson and have my fingers crossed they make Watch Dogs a masterpiece as well. Reply +30

• Games of 2012: Spelunky

  I do love this game. Was a major surprise for me as I played the trial (tutorial) and I thought it was poor. When it was on sale at 600 points I thought I'd give it a go though and after playing the main part of the game a few times you just 'get it' and now I can't put it down.
  
  Completed it from start to finish without shortcuts, got the achievement and it's one of a rare few XBLA games I am determined to get 400/400 on. If they bring out DLC which I believe they will be, I'll be straight on the bandwagon. Reply +2
