    Waiting to go to the Gym (5 mins time) CV and back, if my training partner can workout. Would be happier in bed!

    Well, I can't seem to get to sleep. Was knackered when I got home from work and decided to have a lie down about 7pm. Woke up at 12.15am and now I can't back to sleep.

    How are you EG night owls then? Are you having a hoot?

    I work nights sun/mon/tues, since we had toniight off im at work tomorrow night so made sense to complete the sleep pattern. Been playing ZombiU ;]

    I was up at 5.00. Just waiting to pick up training partner and then off to the Gym for Pecs/Tri

    2 day first aid course from tomorrow, then back to work :(

    There's no sleep in me tonight. Our little dog just returned home after having her remaining eye removed (glaucoma), plus, weirdly, I'm getting all excited about restarting my running-for-fitness regime after work this evening.

    Mrs. M's snoring isn't helping either...

    didn't know they removed eyes for glaucoma did the same thing happen with her other eye? hope shes alright!

    @darkmorgado & Rens11, thank you for those replies :) Yes, they tend to remove them if the pressure gets so high that it is painful, if there is no other way of relieving it (in our case, there just wasn't anything else they could do).

    Well I'm up again after sleeping for around 4:30 hours!
    Getting to be a joke. Bodyclock is fooked, once I wake up I just can't get back to sleep.
    Downstairs now listening to Absolute 80s and making coffee...might play the 360?

    Morning. Re out of wack, I do shift work, but have done so for 18 years, so don't think it is that.
    Age maybe? I'm 40 and there is a history of insomnia in the family...my turn ?

    Stress? Thinking about too much?

    Maybe take some meditation classes? They worked wonders for me when my mind was too busy.

    You may be onto something on the stress front.
    I also used to workout 3/4 times a week, did so for 14 years, but done very little in the last 5/6, maybe need to get back in to my training ragime.

    I just finished volunteer work on a construction project overseas. Mixing concrete by hand, carrying bricks around, that sort of stuff.

    I have never slept more soundly than I did on that project. It was great.

    Sounds shitty. I often have trouble dropping off (hence still being up now), but rarely wake too early. I can just sleep all weekend if I've not been getting enough sleep during the week - my constant problem is establishing a decent sleep cycle where I wake with enough time to get into work unrushed and on time, probably because I don't have a decent sleep routine on Saturday and Sunday because I'm catching up on sleep.

    Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!
