    Had a series of parcels this week abandoned in various parts of our front garden. Good job we live in the sticks with a low crime rate. Also had them deliver it to the laundrette round the corner, which struck me as bizarre

    That is pretty weird. I live in a big apartment complex and if I'm not in then any packages get signed for by security, it's so very useful.

    Same.

    Reasonable parcel delivery is another plus point of living in London!

    My missus worked as a courier for a little while, horrible low paid thankless bloody job it is. It's not surprising the quality of courier is low, the attrition rate is through the roof. To make anywhere near a livable wage you would have to work all the hours of the day, 7 days a week. People join, work for a couple of months, realise how shit it is, then quit - and there are always people lining up to take their place.

    City link supposed to deliver stuff, online says they attempted to. Someone was in and they've left no card so I can't collect it.

    I hope they bother to try and deliver it next time. I don't get why amazon can't give a carrier option on their delivery page, I would buy so much more from them then.

    We all must. Sooner or later. It's one of the sad truths of living.

    If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

    ParcelForce - Unable to locate premises. Seems that as Ebuyer had sent something with the name of property and road on the same address line, he was incapable of working out which road he should have been looking to deliver it on. You stupid, stupid f*cks.

    TNT

    So my wife's working from home today and my new Nexus 7 is due for delivery but, from previous bad experiences of cards throught doors while in, I've had the TNT tracking page and have been refreshing it regularly.

    Lo and behold it popped up as 'reciever not home' despite my missus being very much there.

    So I've phoned and complained, demanded the driver return and asked to have a complaint lodged against the driver.

    Such twats.

    That is half way to a story about how a man finds out his wife's cheating on him.

    I've got a new laptop coming tomorrow. I'm terrified they'll just leave it on my front step, possibly in an Apple branded box.

    @S.J.Rogers @cubbymoore

    I'll probably find out she's having her wicked way with the delivery driver while watching porn on my new Nexus.

    See?! TNT suck!
