Strange Problem

Okay, my PC has had this weird issue for a while now and I'm not sure what the cause of it is.

Basically, whenever I use media (Games, Music or video) my computer seems to play up. For example, if someone in a video says the word "the" and my computer randomly starts acting up, the video will freeze and the sound will say the word "the" like this: ttttthhhhhhheeeeeeeee. The mouse and keyboard become unresponsive too. After a few minutes though, my computer will just start working again like nothing happened.

I thought it might be my graphics card, so I switched from a GeForce to a Radeon. Didn't work. Same issue. I thought it might be a virus, but nope, re-installing the OS; didn't work.

    I'm running Windows 7 64 bit
    8GB DDR5 Ram
    Radeon 5570
    Intel I3 core

    Any ideas?

Hmm...maybe. The problem is of course, I can't just replace it unless I'm sure. I haven't had any other issues with it mind...

Same story playing media via a USB stick?

Hm...I try that. I'm just installing a small game to a USB. See how it does.

    Update:

So far so good. Online videos working via firefox installed to the stick, game going without a issue. :)

If that's all it is, I'm not too bothered. These things don't really cost that much compared to graphic cards etc. phew! Thanks a lot :D

I've had unstable builds go into s...l..o..w.MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and then bluescreen before. This machine used to do it a lot before I changed OS.

    /Pointless and unhelpful post.
