    Fuck yeah!

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

That's a little off-putting. People saying it's dated or old fashioned I can ignore, but the old games were rarely frustrating imo.

The new consoles will 'change gaming forever' well yeah, there'll be 2 new console on Wikipedia.

But 9/10 for revengeance! That has my eye! I know what my A:CM credit is going towards now! :D

I don't really have the money for Metal Gear Rising right now, but I really hope it's successful for Platinum Games. They've been so consistently excellent over the years and the could really do with a massive-selling big financial success.

Can't wait for Revengeance and I do hope it gives Platinum games the success it thoroughly deserves...However, the review is the first one I've seen that mentions the campaign can be beaten in under 10 hours and I fear that will be the stick it gets beaten with by reviewers and other players alike when it comes to a full retail product. Doesn't mind me, I get a lot of enjoyment from Bayonetta/Vanquish just because they're so damn fun to play that it makes it easy to go back to. The demo for Revengeance seemed to tick those boxes too.

Nah. There's some snazzy artist's impressions of what the consoles might look like though.

Yeah I have to say that I am now thoroughly tempted to pick up MGR on the back of that review, it really does sound amazing. But then I was also going to get Crysis 3...

If it does get criticised for that then that's mental. DmC took me around 7 hours on my first playthrough and not once have I seen anyone criticise the game's length. 10 hours sounds like a good run time for a game in this genre.

The score is very encouraging though, I was buying it anyway as I loved the demo and Platinum rarely do bad.

I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

I agree with you, the length wouldn't bother me if the game is fun to come back to with multiple difficulty levels etc. I just remember Vanquish getting wildly criticised for it's length though. I dunno, will be interesting to see.

Yeah, my copy of the magazine is the same with an 8/10 for Sly on Vita. And I've just skim-read the review, and did not see that quoted bit of text anywhere.

Yes that's right, I haven't read it, despite giving you all the entire summary of the contents of the magazine including the spine quote, reviews, collector's corner, previews, cover image, etc.

Nope, no chance in hell that I have it.

You also missed off Fractured Soul review, which was 6/10.

If you're going to do a job...

    Oh.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

Putting on my detectives hat.... He was so eager to be the first to first to post a thread he has summarised the wrong game. Does the quote attributed to sly appear in the fractured soul review by any chance?

Yup, he possibly didn't have the strength to fully open the magazine and inadvertently thought it was a two page review.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

Those magazines are heavy, though. They should come with manual handling instructions.

That's fair enough then, if I have misattributed it to something else I missed.

    I stand corrected :D
