Its the guy with the big face out of Zero Dark Thirty. Seems like a pretty good actor.

She's only got two acting faces. Eyebrows up. Eyebrows down.

    Shit choice I reckon.

I found it all downhill after the Original film. Terminator 2 was ok, although Arnie simply wasn't the same mean-machine. Never thought much of liquid-metal-man either.

Looks the part and could do it some justice, I reckon. However, that doesn't mean it'll actually be any good...

I'm pretty sure Terminator 2 is considered one of the best action films ever.

    Get bent.

I'm assuming this is a reboot rather than a sequel? She's older than Sarah Connor in The Terminator but younger than in Terminator 2 (unless it fits inbetween). Also we have a new John Connor? That's five actors who have played him now (and he wasn't even in the first film).

Edit: was just talking movies but it's six actors if you count Sarah Connor Chronicles.

It's blacksea so I'm guessing he enjoyed the case of Terminator over its sequels.

    You could believe him.

    Then we got Furlong.

T3, worst casting ever and laughable future Conner.

Quick search on IMDB show's he's a TV director but with the latest Thor under his belt... Haven't seen it yet but heard it's quite good.

I read an article somewhere (possibly IGN) about what the story might be about, and it was some crazy, ridiculous time travelling thing, which sounded batshit mental but effectively completly rebooted the franchise, which is what it needs at this point if there's to be two more films after this.

If Arnie is in it, it's not a reboot, and it's also definitely going to be shit.

    All movies must be rebooted.

From what I can remember, it essentially ends with a fresh beginning to start with. Genesis itself won't be a reboot, but future films will be free of the convoluted Skynet/Judgement Day continuity.

Arnie is actually in this then? Ugh. Seen him in a couple of times recently on TV and he genuinely looks ill nowadays. Like he aged 10 years in the space of one or something, I don't remember him looking on the verge of death in the Expendables and that was only a couple of years ago.

I'm sure the article I read (I'm going to have to try and hunt it down) had Arnie's age explained as well. Possibly he's the human they based the robot on or something?

There's a very strong chance I'm completely making all of this up, now I start to think about it.

Arnie said in an interview that although it's a mental endoskeleton, the human flesh on the outside ages just like normal skin. Not as fast, but it still gets older, hence why he looks aged.

And another article says that potentially the time travel will take the characters to revist moments from earlier films, BTTF2-style. Hence changing the timeline and passing the franchise onto new people for future installments.

The original John Connor looks like a total badass. I'd follow him into battle no problem but the other guy looks weird and not badass at all. Fuck that guy.

Hopefully Arnie will stick his arm through someone's chest rather than putting on Elton John's sunglasses.

I miss the days of violent mainstream movies. Everything is like a wet fart nowadays.
