They have quite a big slab of train station and airport real estate. Probably make a killing in the London Stations.

However the majority of their town centre stores must be operating at a loss.

Smiths are in hospitals as well, the Friends shop at one of the hospitals I work at is now a WH Smiths. Bit sad really but the Trust is probably making more money from it and they sell Monster Munch (plus the meal deal) so it's not all bad.
