Ugh. I've got it but I can't get online currently as my PSN account is linked to an Origin ID that I can't log into.

Currently on LiveChat to tech support trying to sort it out...

It goes from bad to worse... Still not managed to link my Origin ID to my PSN account properly and now I have an error message on my Vita (C1-6427-9) when trying to boot up Most Wanted.

Have tried uninstalling Most Wanted and resetting the Vita to no avail. Will have to do a backup and restore when I get home. Very annoyed...

If you get any Origin log in issues, don't try messing about!

Right, managed to get Most Wanted working again by doing a system restore. Just need to rearrange the dash icons.

I really hope EA issue another update so you can actually put in the correct log in details for Origin... Until then, there's no playing online.

Do you need an Origin account?

Yes. You need an Origin account linked to your PSN account in order to use any of the online functions.

Be very careful when you first load this up as there is an option of putting in the e-mail address which is linked to your Origin ID but, if you mess that up, there is currently no other way or assigning your Origin ID.

Yes I've played a couple of races and tooled about the city jacking a few cars and smashing a few billboards and gates.

It's basically Burnout Paradise portable but not quite as carefree and controllable.

I'm loving it so far though. It looks smashing on the Vita's screen and the reduced traffic isn't that noticeable.

You picking up the 360 version as well? Go oooooooon :)

Nah, I have so little time to play anything these days :( That's why I'm considering the Vita version.

Well, Vita's definitely the version to go to. It's perfect for dropping in and out.

Plus you'll still be able to play online with me! :D

I thought PSN/Vita introduced Paypal as a funding payment option?

I tried to add some funds to my wallet last night only to be greeted by the normal two options. It's annoying because I have 44 sitting untouched in pp a/c that is screaming to be used on this.

I get the Paypal option by logging in through the PC, and getting add funds to wallet. The third option there.

Probably getting this tomorrow over the 360 version. All that online stuff sounds confusing though. Don't think I have an Origin account but do have Autolog from Hot Pursuit.

Played the Vita version for a couple of hours and it looks glorious. One of those "I can't believe this is a handheld game!" experiences.

It plays very much like an openworld Burnout. So far the street-youth-hipster part is much more subdued than I had hoped. Menus and presentation is surprisingly inoffensive which really pleases an old fart like me who just wants some good openworld racing.

By the way, performance is pretty much rock solid. I've seen many console games with a framerate that struggles to be as solid on the 30fps mark as this. Sure there are occasional dips but nothing obtrusive. It's more than playable. Even more so when you choose the bumper cam where the framerate goes up and is absolutelly rock solid even when going 250kph on a highway with oncoming traffic.

Digital foundry should really consider doing an analysis of this game. And some iinterviews with Criterion on how they managed to pull this off. It really does look like something that logically should not be possible.

If you want a better example of how good they are at criterion go play black on the PS2, how they managed to get the ps2 to make a FPS look that good is an astonishing feat or programming. Not sure if anyone from criterion looks at eurogamer, or even this thread but they should be very proud of what they managed to pull off.

Criterion have always been one of those developers like Psygnosis back in the day that could always get some extra power and you wonder how they managed it.
Sony need to be showing this running with AC:L at every opportunity to show how good the Vita is.

Tanned a full battery on this last night. Criterion have crow barred a helluva lot of game into the Vita card. Simply brilliant. I'm gonna try mp this weekend. Add me: terrytheturtle.
