    No idea.

It'll be 29 though, which is super-duper great!

... got an Apple TV so, I am not in the market for that I'm afraid.

I've just got my new Nexus 7 (from Amazon US using comGateway to forward to the UK) and very lovely it is too! Being slightly narrower and lighter shouldn't make a huge difference but it does feel much better to hold (madam) and the screen looks great.
How do the new speakers sound?

I can't speak from own experience but the consensus on XDA Developers forum seems to be that the speakers are much better I.e. louder now.

4.3 upgrade on my 2012 nexus 7 seems to have cured the slowdown issue (which started bothering me a month or so ago)

Does anyone own an Android media player that plug into the TV and network?

My Nexus 7 (the new one) arrived this morning. Shed load of updates as expected :p.

One question. Is there a way to rearrange the icons into folders or different screens? I would have thought there was a way to do it but I just can't figure it out...

    Hold and drag.

    @HiddenAway

Try a long press on the icon, then dragging and dropping it on another icon, that creates a folder; dragging an icon to the screen border will move it to another home screen.

Thanks all. Realised I was doing it in the wrong screen :). Needed to move things to the home screen first :p

That's just happened to my nexus 4 too. Maybe just an update to the update? Seemed quicker this time.

So I've just ordered myself a new Nexus 7, can't wait. Any advice on what is the best cover/screen protector to go for?

Did you not notice that the size of the update was only 1.8mb whereas that last 4.3 update was around 150?

    This was just bug fixes...

Got a poetic case on mine, don't bother with a screen protector tho as most cases have a magnetic cover anyways to put it into sleep.

Yeah, it's just odd that it's labelled 4.3 not, say 4.3.1. If it's going to be an update the user has to initiate they might as well give you a reason for doing so.

    The Nexus 4 had a price drop: 160 for the 8gb and 200 for the 16gb (+10 P&P).

I've seen a lot of articles online saying that the 8gb is worthless, because you'll quickly fill it up with music, photos and games. The only thing I want to do with this is install Cynagen, run a few open-source apps from F-Droid, use the web and basic phone stuff. Mainly on wi-fi too. On that basis, can I get away with an 8gb or is Cynagen going to fill it up immediately?

Very annoying that Google don't put SD card slots in these things. It was a dealbreaker for me until I saw this tempting price drop. I would ideally like to store my music collection on my phone, but I'd need a lot more than 16gb (more than 32gb too).

200 for the full fat N4 is ridiculously good value. It's disgusting to think how much Apple get away with charging.

Bought a first gen Nexus and the web is laggy as shit. Turns out Chrome is laggy as shit; firefox is bullet fast. zomg. Tip for anyone.

I mean, pulling your bookmarks from the ether is a neat trick, but it isn't worth this.

Google don't make any profit from the phones. Of course undercutting and taking control of the market has always been good for consumers in the long run, just look at how tesco have provided high quality and well traceable products.
