I wish my job involved spamming websites with advertising under the cover of being community posts. I'm sure that's really rewarding.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I am afraid I cannot share such a positive review of ACE-FX.

I recently went in with the intention of purchasing several thousand Turkish Lira to open a small nail boutique in Antalya.

Imagine my suprise when on closer inspection the notes were in fact a poor forgery. Each note rather than displaying prominent Turkish individuals from accross the ages, had instead crudely drawn pictures of a man sodomising a Turkish Barn owl.

At first I thought there had been a simple misunderstanding, but when I approached ACE-FX I was verbally abused over the telephone. Upon calling a second time I was treated to the sounds of a man playing the flute with his anus.

Now this may be common practice at ACE-FX, but in my house ass flute will not stand. I marched straight down to the main office, which I found to be located in the mens toilets at the N1 centre in Islington. Enraged I addressed the CEO, who between violently pleasuring himself would only shout "Barnacles" at infrequent intervals.

Suffice to say my experience was less than satisfactory.

:D You are far too creative to work in recruitment.

That is a very rude and arrogant conclusion to jump to. True though.

this forum is meant to be helping people not mocking people - get a life
You are not from around here, are you?

    @duffyman

So you genuinely joined this forum an hour go purely because you're so satisfied with the services of a foreign exchange company that we've already heard interferes with owls? That's some kind of customer satisfaction.

May I suggest you're the one needing a life.

This reminds me of a thread about a car hire company in North London 3 or 4 years ago, can anyone find, it may act as an object lesson to duffyman.

Assumption made, conclusion jumped to.. very nice work.

And Loand_2.0 - pathetic - I hope you got some enjoyment out of that poor response, this forum is meant to be helping people not mocking people - get a life
This made me chuckle as well so thank you duffyman.

Hey Duffyman, guess what? Your spam is obvious.

And if you want to be a dick and deny it I will post enough ludicrous tales to propel ACE-FX to the very top of any google search and direct them to this page.

The irony is that were it not for his post I'd have thought "hey here's a post from a fairly long standing forum member saying these guys are pretty competitive, maybe I'll check them out next time I travel"

After your post - NO FUCKING CHANCE!

Ace-fx are con artists. They try to look cheaper but then load additional hidden charges when they've hooked you in.

The last I heard they were being investigated by the office of fair trading so I would avoid them.

Sadly that classic thread has been deleted, but it was A1 Holloway Van Rental, that's A1 Holloway Van Rental, and it was found that all of their vans contained dead kids.

An outrage. One of my favourite threads ever! Up there with "audio from my 360".

I thought ACE-FX was a film with Brian Cox (not the 'universe is amaaaaazing' guy, the Australian actor).

    Bryan Brown, I think.

I thought Ace-FX was a guitar pedal but then I remembered that it's Axe-FX, made by Fractal Audio, who do not, to my knowledge, abuse owls.

    Brian Cox is English.

Of course, in F/X, it could also be Brian Dennehy, although he is American.
