Registered 5 years agoDo they still have the same thing with the PSP where it only charged in-game if you had it plugged into the mains? Seemed retarded that it didn't charge when connected via USB to a PC or something, though CFW soon sorted that one.GHOSTBUSTERS

Registered 8 years agoI find the analogue sticks slightly too close to the buttons for my big hands - I find it hard to press X without rubbing my thumb against the right stick for example.
And this is super super niggly, but they've covered their bases so well on input that it makes me wish they'd taken the one final step and given it analogue triggers, which would make a big difference for racing games.
The Near app is awful. The 3DS spotpass stuff works extremely well and in the absence of any worthwhile games it actually kept me going for ages meeting the avatars of people I'd come across, swapping puzzle pieces with them etc. By comparison, Near seems to be capable of all the same things and gathers all kinds of info, but I just can't make sense of the UI or do anything interesting with it. -
They need to integrate the whole trophy / friends/ near thing into some kind of cohesive system level stuff rather than apps. And make them not kinda crappy?
The browser offends me on a professional level as I work with them every day and know there is no good reason its quite so technically backward when mobile phones can cram better experiences into them. Disappointing.
I mentioned it on another thread but the worst annoyance for me was seeing Everybody's Tennis going for £24.99 on the Vita store when the EG review comments from the 2010 PSP release had it at £16.99.
That's just shitty. -

Sony lets publishers decide. So it's up to publishers what they charge.

Registered 10 years agoIt should save settings such as location sharing prefs, bubble layout on the GUI, background pictures etc somewhere in a profile on the memory card. Swapping accounts/memory cards is relatively easy, all that shit being reset is kind of annoying though.

Cool, hope it works fine, I know they didn't have it for Mac at first.

And a related on-topic point, the transfer speeds when backing things up seem incredibly slow.

Registered 2 years agoIt'd be quite nice if there weren't black spots and lines all over the bloody screen. Can't see it in the day, but it's quite easily visible in the evening on both loading screens, and dark areas of games (I'm not playing in the dark btw). I could live with a few spots, but not all over the screen like my current one. -

Registered 11 years ago@blakester what you using to stream to your iPad? Mine always stutters when viewing stuff on my NAS drive using Goodplayer and Aceplayer app
@dsmx Wow so hackers have got remote play working on every game? If so good job I kept my original PS3 hard drive - it must even have the Other OS option it's so old - tempting to plonk it into my PS3 and hacking just for this alone.
PSV could seriously do with a flash player, especially as Sony's own PSV blog
links to videos we can't watch due to ths. How silly is that!
