I saw it as confirmed on Twitter, but yes, that does seem to be according to one specific site.

It sounds true though, if that makes sense...

It's a good sign that football people are being given roles. I'm sceptical though.

Is bob evolving? Has he acquired a poetic consciousness?

I can certainly see the sense in it and it does ring true. The reaction to his time at Ajax isn't overwhelmingly positive though...

Bale, Modric and Benzema for Kane would be absolutely incredible for Spurs surely? If true, which it isnt.

I guess. Hadn't actually realised Benzema and Bale were as old as that. Would love to see Modric in the prem again though.

There's a reason why Madrid would want to do that deal (although as you say it's obviously bullshit).

Bale is more or less finished sadly and Madrid know it. They'll try and palm him off to whoever has more money than sense and can afford to pay £100m for a couple of seasons of him being injured 70% of the time. I.E Man U.

Benzema isn't a patch on Kane now and is nearly done.

Madrid as you say is still unbelievable. But at this point I would rather we gave the development time to Winks. Very much doubt he'd want to come back anyway. He could do far better.

    Benz is on the end.
Bale? Not sure what to make of his Madrid exploits. A disaster? Pretty close.

Bale will be happy with his exploits, I am sure.

Scored a worldy in a Copa Del Rey final Classico. Champions League final winning goal. La Liga champion. Three times Champions League winner. European Cup semi-final with Wales.

He has a record that stands up to any living Brit. Whilst spending half the time crocked.

Not sure how anyone could think of Bale's time at Real as a disaster. Incredibly important to their successes.

That and the fact that if you have players leaving because you aren't paying them enough, you're hardly likely to have the cash to pay those three.

Good interview with Chris Kirkland regarding his battle with depression.

If Arsene Wenger had Harry Redknapp’s tactical nous then Arsenal would win the league, says Paul Merson.

I loved Merse the player but he's thick as a brick.

Or just says stuff to keep his in a job, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

Doubt Sanchez will start either. The international break always causes problems.

    Hmmm, I dunno.
I mean, he was, I guess.

But he was bought to be in the echelons of the best alongside Messi and Ronaldo, if not Neymar and Suarez.

Really? I think he'll be pretty happy with three CL titles (and one La Liga), and scoring the winning goal in the 'Le Decima'. And 56 goals in 105 games isn't to be sneezed at.

He was always going to be in Ronaldo's shadow but I don't that's a disaster, or even close. I'd say that's pretty damn successful frankly.

Not sure how fit he is to be honest. It's going to end up as a outscore to win kind of game. 3-2 is my tip.

Bale has been a success at Madrid. Calling it a disaster is laughable, LAUGHABLE.

He's been far more successful at Madrid than I thought he was going to be. I thought it was more a case of being one of their little dick-measuring signings despite his obvious talent and he'd go the way of the likes of Owen. But he's achieved more there than most do in a career and it's a shame his body is seemingly made of glass because he should have a few more good years ahead of him rather than all of us talking like it's his obituary.

Even Owen had a good scoring record there didn't he? They're not happy unless you're scoring a hat-trick of overhead kicks from the half way line every game. Awful fans.

19 in 43, almost one every 2 games. Not bad really considering he was coming off the bench most the time.
