As I said, all of this crises will be wiped out next Saturday when they wallop Villa. We were pretty abject at Fulham and our home form is notoriously terrible. If ever there was a perfect fixture to have in the midst of all this then it's Villa away.

You are a factory of sadness.

Bah, just telling it how it is. We're clearly on a dip in form and our home form is terrible.

You beat Southampton away from home the other day! We would kill for a result like that!

When was the last time Villa beat Utd? If it's longer than 5 years, expect to win, Moyes is a record breaker.

Moyes in his press conference says Utd need to improve on their defending, passing and creating chances.

    In other words, playing football.

They're still among the best for harassing officials and acting like they're entitled to win every game without showing up, but they shouldn't get arrogant and slack off practising these as well.

That result was a bit of an outlier imo, we were lethal on the counter and didn't otherwise play that well as far as I know. One major problem is that our defence with Vlaar is liable to panic as was shown against Fulham.

Add to that, Lambert seems to be favouring players who are out of form and we lack dynamism in attack so as long as Man Utd are relatively solid then we'll struggle.

You are a factory of sadness.

Whatever the result, you can put your house on Villa scoring first.

If there are any goals at all that is, will in all probability be 0-0.

    :-D

Fulham were pretty impressive with that skill too, every decision had someone moaning at the ref, even when it was a clear foul. I kind of wish our players learned this as pressuring the ref at home would swing things in our favour sometimes.

You are a factory of sadness.

Everton winning the FA Cup is literally my first footballing memory.

Looks like Henderson is out for the weekend. No Sturridge, no Gerrard, no Henderson. Spurs are going to destroy us on Sunday :-(

The Spurs who have scored 15 PL goals all season? Unlikely :)

    Plus you have Suarez...

Spurs could teach Liverpool a fair few things about imploding.

I'll still never live down those 'Mind the Gap' comments a couple of years ago....

It looks like Alberto will have to start then. I hope Henderson will be back very soon as we will probably miss him more than Gerrard in some ways.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Liverpool revert to 3 center backs to cover for the midfield losses.

That is an option, Joe Allen has been playing well as a deeper playmaker this past week, so I would say him and Lucas get the nod.

Luis Alberto would be a good option to have in place of Henderson, but not sure if he would work in a three. The 4231 would be my choice as it's been working to Suarez's advantage lately.

Tony Pulis will keep Palace up.

They played well on Saturday but that was helped by possibly the worst performance I've ever seen from us. I still think they'll go down with us amd Sunderland.

Yeah, you're in relegation form at the moment. Thought you'd push on from the derby win tbh.

Interested to see what Poyet does in January with regards to transfers. Di Canio brought in so much that I can't imagine they'll be able to make too many changes.

Fulham should be alright - they've got a strong squad.

We haven't played well for a while tbh and I think if we don't win on Saturday then Malky we will be gone. Our football is dire and if i'm honest i'd probably not be that bothered if he did go. Yeah, Fulham have too much experience and quality to get relegated imo but Sunderland look doomed.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

I agree 4231 is best. Playing 3 center backs and I can see Tottenham pushing Liverpool right back. Playing Sterling and Moses on the counter would seem ideal, and to also throw Alberto in at the deep end a bit and see what he can do.

Woops, I knew I missed out on someone. Sorry Phil.

    Mingolet

    Johnson Skrtel Sakho Flanagan

    Allen Lucas

    Sterling Coutinho Moses

    Suarez

I think Alberto will be on the bench with Coutinho behind Suarez, with the 2 quick wingers. This is assuming Henderson is not playing.
