Good coverage this year too. Sky have their usual two games on Sunday and Channel 4 then have the late Sunday night game. On top of that the BBC are showing Monday Night Football this year!

Last night's game was a good one - way to kick off the season! I thought it'd be a snoozer after the first half, but they really picked it up in the 2nd. I just get the feeling this season won't be much diff. from last for Dallas - and the Giants losing in the regular season and looking terrible early on is of no surprise.

Also, looks like Ogletree might be a hot ticket on everyone's fantasy waiver wire!!!

Gonan see if I can find a good stream for 49ers Vs Green Bay next I reckon. I've recently become unemployed(:() so plenty of NFL to watch into teh wee hours of the morning is a plus I guess.

Anyone watching MNF? Strange opening quarter between the Broncos and Falcons. Manning is having an absolute stinker. Intercepted 3 times in the opening 10 minutes.

Replacement refs were shocking in that Broncos vs Falcons game too.

I like it when he's angry.

Payton looks all over the place at the moment and it's looking like his past injury is hindering some of his pass making.

Anyone going to Wembley at the end of October for the NFL game?
I saw it mentioned at the superbowl and bought 4 tickets. Then roped in some friends to go see it with me. It was "at the end of the year" but it's now suddenly getting very close. Yaaay!

This is going to be a wild and whacky season if the first two weeks are any thing to go by.

Just watched Ray Lewis A football life.As a Ravens fan it was even more inspirational to see what Ray does off the field as well as on it.

Yeah, I started getting the NFL Network this season too. I love it!

Kinda stupid they had the "A Football Life" thing for Tebow, but it's to be expected.

And, yeah, refs took quite a tumble in week 2. As analysts have said, though: until it hits the NFL's "bottom line," they won't be in any hurry to change it.

The gap between what the NFL are offering and what the officials want is in the 10's of millions. The NFL will quite happily pay college div 3 & 4 officials far lower money, until the real officials give in.

As to the affects,it is certainly favouring defense as they are getting away with alot more than they could with the proper officials. The replacements just cannot keep up with the speed of the action.

It is not the calls I have seen, but the time it takes to sort things out.
Spotting the ball in the wrong place etc.It just makes the NFL look a joke
    in everyones eyes.

Maybe Arthur Daley should become the new commissoner lol.

If it keeps going this way, a big game is going to be affected by a bad call and that's when all holy hell will break loose.

But this weekend's games had it all (missed calls, bad calls, wrong spotting of the ball, clock mismanagement, etc.) - with the cherry on top being MNF and that 1st quarter taking over an hour.

That is the beauty of gamepass, archived games get cutdown to 2 hours.Or you have the condensed version with only the plays, and that is 30 minutes.

I think the NFL had a word with the replacements as more pass interference penalties were called in the Giants v Panthers game.

I liked the Panthers years ago,as they seemed the NFC version of the Ravens with a tough defence and strong running game.Cam' was alot of fun last season, but D coordinators do not let you get away with what he did last season a second time.

I really hope they sort out this ref dispute after some of the decisions this week.

The Green Bay vs Seattle game was the worst. That decision at the end was just awful.

I like it when he's angry.

It doesn't help when players and coaches start taking the piss like last nights game which just makes the refs job even harder.

Watching as many NFL games as I do.The situation with these replacement refs has gone beyond funny to quite sad.

The Packer Seahawk game was the lowest of the low for calls. It makes the league look like a joke, with having people not qualified to do the job,and finally it cost a team a win they should have had.

Watching it jus'now on the red button. Wrong calls, wrong numbers, reversed decisions. Absolutely awful. Can't wait to see the final TD controversy.

ED: Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear ! That was laughable.

It was probably the worst refereeing decision I've ever seen in any sport. Props to Green Bay for coming back on for the pointless final kick. If I were the coach I'd have taken my team and fucked straight off out of the stadium after that farce.

Thank heavens the real refs just agreed to an 8 year contract and are back tonight for the Cleveland v Raven game.

One NFL owner let on to a reporter on the Seahawk-Pack debacle: "That game reshaped everything...it shook me. I think it shook a lot of people."

These owners need to get off their clouds and wake the hell up.This should have been sorted in the offseason.

Yep - in a week or two we'll be cursing them too. :p

There's so much money riding on these games that it's become more than "just a game," which makes every decision that more important.

Vegas claims to have lost 150m due to the call. I'm dubious of that, though.
