I picked up the Insane edition, haven't been able to find a way to get the DLC yet though. Though after I get a game I got usually have no interest in future DLC, just want to finish it and play something else (or these days play it a few hours and end up moving to something else and never coming back). I do like the bad guy doll that came with it though.

My "Lost Expeditions" version from Grainger Games was dispatched today, which includes 2 extra missions or something. £29 delivered with price match (check HUKD) but you do have to wait a day for the price match verification unfortunately.

To be fair, Whizzos problem is not that frequent.

I'm willing to bet that shopto get my copy through my door before release day and for less than you will have to pay for yours.  Unless the postie drowns.

Just ordered the shit edition from Simplygames. I'm expecting it Thursday earliest. At least it should fit through the door as I'll be at work.

Done my nonlethal Dishonored runthrough so I'm ready for this.

If you could find a bricks and mortar shop selling the PC Insane Edition for 27 quid on your travels point it out to me, I'd do a lot more shopping there.

    This space left intentionally blank.

The fuck? Was a little sad to have no dispatch email today, so I just logged into ShopTo to check and it seems my pre-order has completely vanished.

..and the Great Expositions edition (same price as vanilla) is now on back order. Hmph. Vanilla version it is then.

Edit: Actually, what the fuck am I doing. At the moment it looks like my graphics card s faulty, so if true I wouldn't have to anything to play it on. I'll leave it for now.

Been playing the PC version, and besides the eternal curse of Uplay been unable to close properly and crashing every time, the game seems great. I did the usual thing I do of playing alone to the story untill it lets me do my own thing, then ignoring it. It captures what I loved about Far Cry, the huge island with tons to do and letting you do it the way you want to. Reminds me a bit of a more modern Gothic. Spent most of the time hunting, and it's certainly a beautiful game. Everwhere you go there seems to be caves, ancient temples, or something of interest. For some reason in spite of only been interested in the single player, seems to love having me connected. Everytime I press escape, has to log into Ubi's servers. Even if I want to just craft something. Also looks like another big game, just need the time to play it.

There's a number of camps with enemies, and when you clear them you end up getting the camp, and some of the area. When you take out lads in the wilderness, seems it attracts any of them who happen to be about and can end up quite a fight. Only played a couple of hours though, and spent most of that in the wilderness trying to get stuff to craft with. I didn't like Far Cry 2, or Crysis 1 or 2 for that matter, but so far this is excellent.

Sounds excellent, I didn't get on with Far Cry 2 either (loved FC1 though) so I'm hopeful I'll love FC3, at least the setting is very similar to the first game.
^ Exactly the same as me. Really looking forward to this

Played an hour or so last night on 360. Never been a Far Cry fan before but this is excellent. The opening sequence pulls you in and Vaas seems like a brilliant villain.

I like them all (and Skyrim) and I can barely contain myself.

    Can't wait for this.

I'm going to build a single-player map with a 50m square open-top box full of tigers. And a ramp.

Then I am going to fly over the the tank in my wing-suit. And then jump over it in a jeep. And then build a stream through the middle of it and whizz through it on a jet-ski.

    Oh yes!
