I hope he wakes up tomorrow to a knock on the door from the IRS asking him to explain WTF was up with his tax returns and declarations not being all that similar.

You can tell Fox news has melted-down. They are mostly agreeing that the Republican party needs to get with the program and stop being so hateful and divisive.

I'm sure they will get their shit together again by tomorrow and blame it all on the lame-stream-media, welfare queens and negative campaigning.

Just switched to Fox, they've quickly jumped all over the "but he hasn't won the popular vote" bandwagon.

It's getting undignified now, Romney really just needs to concede.

    Now 303 for Obama.

This is just embarrassing now. Romney needs to make some sort of statement or he just looks like a bitter shitheel.

Nah, that's hyperbole. The nation was almost in two minds, but the electoral system ensured that the interests of the two strips of coastline were catered for, and the hick Borderlands desert in the middle ignored.

Speaking for the rest of the world, thank FUCK.

Hasn't he? Or is it too soon to call? It's fairly rare for someone to win the electoral college but not the popular vote.
  • Deleted user 7 November 2012 05:48:50
Yeah, it's not a landslide by any definition. It ultimately came down to two or three key states.

Romney "due to speak imminently" apparently.
  • Deleted user 7 November 2012 05:51:11
Yeah, apparently Romney's now formally conceded.

Thank fuck. Was worried he'd try to string it out until all the votes had been counted.

    Here comes the concession speech.
  • Deleted user 7 November 2012 05:56:36
Short, gracious and to the point, about the best he could do considering.
  • Deleted user 7 November 2012 05:59:34
    Well, short-ish.

  • Deleted user 7 November 2012 06:10:07
I actually agree with the core of his speech, to be honest, it's the partisan shit, like in-house bickering and GOPs blocking everything Dems try to do simply because they're "the opponents", that'll fuck things up both short and long term.
