Who caught this? Totally superb. Just finished watching it, after its re-run, from Sky +.

IMO best TV Comedy to come from the UK since Spaced.
    Thoughts?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

Best SINCE spaced - Don't lets get my statement get out of context against the almighty Spaced. Still, if you like Spaced, I think you will love this.

Ohh I caught up on this after a recommendation in the unnoticed programes thread tht was bashing about. Watched them all as I was deadly ill and it cheered me up no end & waiting on the new series. Some deadly embarrassing moments though!

Its good, but i wouldn't even go as far to say the best sitcom since spaced to be honest. Peep Show has to be in the running too for example.

Watched it first time it was on, was much better then i was expecting but is nowhere near the best comedy since anything. Actually, i thought at least 3 of the episodes were as ordinary as i would have expected (can't remember which ones, it's been a long time)

Best thing since Spaced wrongly implies that it is better than peep show.

I've been singing the praises of the inbetweeners to all and sundry since I watched it first time round. A truly wonderous comedy with brilliant actors and incredibly well written.

The theme park episode is superb. When Will callls the front row of disabled roller coaster passengers absolute arseholes! Genius :D

As I said on a previous post. If you're male and can remember your teens, you'll love it!

Series 1 on DVD is only 7 on play atm.

edit: and as peep show has been mentioned, series 1-5 also on Play for 16 ish if I remember rightly.
    Getting both come pay-day :)

    Brian: What are you playing?
    Tim: Tomb Raider 3.
    Brian: She's drowning.
    Tim: Yeah.
Brian: Is that the point of the game?
Tim: Depends what mood you're in really.

Dunno really. Probably because it'd kill the DVD sales which must be a nice little earner.

S'worth watching to see David Walliams' bit as Vulva.

    Pu-dding!

I cannot say that word without saying it in that bizarre Walliams voice.

Other great gaming-related bit in Spaced - Daisy / Tim's verbal scrap intercut with bits of Tekken.

    Heh, that bit is great.

Also paintball, mike hiding behind the door with a gun, robot wars (oh so i didant think o' dat!), flaps magazine, signing on for benefits, tim being fired and so on and so on.

    so many great bits.

Don't forget of course Peter Serafinowicz as Duane Benzie!

There was an episode when Tim was obsessed with completing Resi 2 as well (for gaming reference)

Yeah, seems like a nice guy who always seems to play total twunts :)

Duane: See Tim, that's the difference between you and I. Organization. Careful thinking. Forward planning. Thats why I sleep in the arms of a beautiful woman and you spend your evenings alone in your bedsit - with cheap porn.
    Tim: It's not a bedsit. It's a flat!

As I take it upon myself to recommend The Inbetweeners to everyone I possibly can, I thought I'd mention that Series 2 is starting this week. Thursday, 10pm, E4.

Please let it be as good as the last series!
