Because it's pretty average, at best?

I'm absolutely loving the Sub Focus album from last year. I'm a bit late to the party perhaps with this. It's such a diverse album though with influences from early house, rave and what was speed garage. I can even hear the Chemical Brother in a couple of tracks.

    Loving it.

    Beautiful tender beings.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't made it into the charts, it's so safe and middle of the road.

If Hospital Records had the same kind of resources as Ram, rest assured you'd hear nothing but Netsky all over everything.

Has too much singing for my liking, 'secret agent' and 'mellow' are decent enough tracks though.

So kids... anything new and good? I got an email from Juno (record shop) today advertising the release of a new Klute album. I'll probably get it, as I do religiously anything Klute, but first listen to the tracks on their website sadly didn't fill me with a massive amount of confidence.

Anyone got any good new mixes or album recommendations?

Was quite surprised to hear John B's latest podcast is kind of a house mix. Listening anyway as it's not too bad given that it's really not my kind of thing normally.

Oh, soreeeeeee, the voiceover has corrected me - it's not house, it's techno.

    New Klute album is gooood.

Should be force fed to the muppets that think Pendulum and Chase & Status are what drum & bass is about.

"New" and "Drum & Bass" doesn't go together in my mind, am I missing something?

MC Spyda aka Black Taran, Still got his bday bash tape set from '98. He's pretty live over full dnb sets. Check Rawhill Crew stuff with Navigator.

www.dnbshare.com - check the archives, all the greatest sets of all time; live, radio and studio

Some of Chase And Status' earlier work is true, heavy D&B. They've become too mainstream the last couple of years though :s

Indeed. Pretty much defines the Hospital 'liquid' sound. Lovely stuff, for the most part, without getting too twee :)

HC is fucking awesome, seen him live twice now.

Was actually listening to HC before this thread popped up, believe it or not. Have you guys heard his track Metamorphisis? (yes I know it's old). Not my most fav track of his creation but it's still great, really reminds me of Rez too because of some of the sounds/samples used.

So, I bought Plastic Surgery from the iTunes store, every london track stands out, that's for the heads up.

Noticed these comps on iTunes give you the album as unmixed tracks and a mix session too, that's fucking ace!!
