    Can't the difficulty be changed after starting the game? Will probably heed your advice anyways, thanks again

    This really bothers people that much*? To each their own and all that. Doesn't bother me in the slightest if I'm honest. PS Store has ads after all, difference with the 360 is that the Marketplace is sort of integrated into the dashboard as a whole.

    *rhetorical question

    My 360 still gets loads of play as at the end of the day most games I'd want to play at this point in the generation are multiformat anyway.
    Hey you managed to reply to post mentioning PS and not call someone a fanboy, I'm impressed! ;)

    No the ads don't bother me that much, I should have expanded that. It has no ads and a dashboard that's easy to navigate and doesn't get downgraded every year. It's still not all that good, just not as bad.

    Anyone know what today's Deal of the Day is going to be? Think Xmas eve was the only date without a confirmed game when the initial sales list was published.

    @richardiox It's Trials stuff. I just got Origins of Pain for 200MSP (and bought Riders of Doom at the same time).

    Also managed to grab Dust and Deadlight before they reverted to 1200 (sometimes being a crap sleeper pays off) but, worryingly, they state "assigned to other console on them". Edit: Just needed to press 'Download now' on them... never seen that before though. Now to play my goodies until the morning arrives.

    @MatMan562 If you're on your second (or third or fourth...) XBox, Xbox.com autoassigns the download to the console with the most licences attached to it. That's why you're getting that message. Just do a complete licence transfer to your latest console and it'll fix it. You can even do that on the dash now.

    If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

    I've done that in the past, twice in fact, but to this day I still get that message on my 360 whenever I buy anything through Xbox.com.

    Anyway, I'm a couple of hours into Deadlight and it's fantastic. I'm chewing over whether to spunk a load of points on Trials Evo. I've got the original and I love it in short bursts, but I've never got anywhere near completing any of the tracks above normal difficulty, they're just too mental for me and I haven't got the patience for something so repetitive. Not sure I want to spend points on a game I probably won't see all of.

    @Spong

    I'm the same with Trials, I never get far beyond the medium tracks. There's plenty in Evo for the likes of us, the structure's a bit more flexible than the first game's, and when you take into account the fan-made content then you'll never be short of things to do.

    Really enjoying deadlight although the The Rat man levels were horrible trial and error big mistake by the game designers as its not want you get a game like deadlight and takes all your fucking weapons away (not that you are super powerful)

    As for the price vs length of game, its easy to see. You feel short changed, I don't want to play a pad out game horribly but I don't want to pay 10/15 for download game thats 1 hour long as it "looks arty for download game

    Are the Serious Sam games (on offer in the Sales & Specials app) any good? Which one is best?

    Looking forward to trying The Walking Dead. Out of interest, how long does each episode take approximately - a couple of hours?

    Played a bit of Mark of the Ninja, and it seems very good indeed.

    Just the Walking Deads left for me this year then, unless something super awesome is pulled out for Wednesday.

    Apparently its Counterstrike GO, so definitely just the Walking Dead left for me this year.

    I'm still torn over Trials Evo and its DLC for 1000MSP. I better make my mind up soon, unless of course the deals don't change at the stroke of midnight.

    @Spong

    I've paid full price for both Trials games and all their expansions and never regretted it, even though I'm pretty crap at it. If you have had fun trying out the demo, at 1000 msp, Evo and DLC is a steal...

    Okay, you talked me into it. Thank God the Marketplace isn't quick to change their deals (it's now 1:07am and I've just bought Evo and the Origin DLC). Give it an hour and I'll probably be tearing my hair out again and waking up the neighbours with my swearing.

    Rock of Ages has dropped from 800 to 200 and Hydro Thunder has dropped from 1200 to 400. Slightly better than I expected. :)

    Edit: then again, Rock of Ages is also cheap on Steam today. :p

    Edit again: then again, it's worth considering that if you're a Rewards member and you stay Gold throughout December, you get 100MSP back for spending 2,000. Obviously not worth going for by itself, but personally, I've spent 1,800 this month, which would sorta kinda make Rock of Ages 100.

    ...Maybe I spend too much time thinking about game prices.
