Trials HD DLC in development now

RedLynx still focused on XBLA game.

Trials HD mastermind RedLynx is working on new content for the XBLA game right now.

"There's going to be DLC," the company told Console Arcade. "We are working on it right now as we speak."

RedLynx offered no further details, but we'll bike them down and see what we can find out.

Trials HD is available now from Xbox Live Arcade. It's brilliant. Head to our Trials HD review for the full praise-shower.

Finishing all extreme tracks was one of the most frustrating and wonderful gaming experiences this year.

I for one am looking forward to some new tracks from the developers, although they really should have created a public pool for user made tracks.

This has to be game of the year..

Still trying to finish the extreme tracks without giving up after 500 retries ;)

Funny that the games I've spent most time playing on 360 are all arcade titles (Peggle, Zuma, Lumines, Rez, Castle Crashers etc) whilst the full retail games sit on my shelf still in the shrinkwrap.

trials = horrible addiction. awesome gaming.

Even though I've not finished the hard levels and I'm yet to even start the extreme levels I'll buy this in the blink of an eye.

Really would like some more bikes though.

Luckily Batman came out and made it possible for me to stop playing this game. I was horribly addicted. Free DLC please, 1200 points was enough I think.

Oh and what OllyJ said, we should be able to play anyone's custom tracks, this would give the game some serious legs.

It would be nice if it was free but I wouldn't grudge paying a few points for more of the same. Adding leaderboards and better global integration for custom tracks would be awesome, though unlikely.

Realistically what I would haope to see is a compilation of the best user tracks (100+ at least) with leaderboard support. Means a small development time if they don't have to desing them and hopefully low cost too.

I echo the sentiments for game of the year too!

    @EarlBassett
We all have become a bit greedy... If you were to get free DLC you would get crappy DLC compared to what they will give you for a price since they are practically WORKING for a long time with caution and quality. I do wish as well everything was freakin free but I know that for good games rather not be free. Why? cause that way it wont be a couple of extra maps/lvls and also sloppy. Quality games need quality DLC. :) By saying that you ask for a TY everytime you pay a game for them which they worked for, you might as well be donating to them for their good job or something :p

But yeah I hope that the DLC will be great and enough. This damn game was so surprisingly addictive! :/

I would gladly pay for more extreme tracks but what about a best of user created tracks for free as well.
  • cyacomini #11 2 years ago

I was going to suggest allowing Avatars to ride on the bikes but their big fucking stupid heids would really mess up the physics.

Still, would be a sight to behold given some of the 'creatures' I've seen appear on 1vs100

Ace game, only need gold medals on going up and classic now.

Really good new this, this is one of the best games of all time IMHO.

Would pay for the ability to share and rate tracks...
