The European PlayStation 3's line-up of launch titles has been fully confirmed, with the console due to go on sale tomorrow.
Thanks to some last-minute slippages, it may not be quite the list you saw when Sony first trumpeted the 23rd March launch, so we've spent the last few days ringing around to make sure you know what you'll be getting. Well, Rob did. It's not like I'd waste my time on that nonsense
You can catch a glimpse of the full line-up, including available peripherals and PlayStation Network titles as part of our Euro PS3 launch details feature, wherein you can also click through to each title's gamepage. And if you don't see a game there (e.g. flOw, NBA 2K7), it's for good reason (it's slipped).

Good for you sir. While I personally think the PS3 is a bit shit just now, I applaud your decision to buy one because it's something you actually want. Fanboys can bugger off, if you love the 360 so much then why aren't you playing it instead of stirring up trouble here eh? Hope you enjoy your PS3 - really looking forward to hearing EG reader's feedback on the console after the first few days with it. |

You can see the point they're making though can't you? There's not much difference between the PS3 launch lineup and the games already available on 360, so these games are unlikely to make 360 fans get a PS3. Mind you, it's only Sony fans that will be buying it at this stage anyway so I don't suppose it makes much difference.

@Stormflood & Scimarad - i said fanboy as a term for the hardcore who are proud to call themselves so.....if the hat does not fit then don't wear it.
I am a M$ fanboy....there i said it. Take no offense from what I said. My statement still stands though, Sony are rewarding those who stuck by them by giving them stuff that they may have missed out on rather than trying to initially convert people like me. There was zero offence intended. |

Actually, I'm not really getting one either, me earlier example was hypothetical.
... and I've just sold my House, and have muchos-wongas sitting around, because next time I'm renting! But I am trying to do a deal with my buyer, where I leave the sofa and a couple of beds and some kitchen goods, in exchange for a PS3 - got to be worth a try? |

As much as it is a strong line up in terms of quantity, it isn't really strong in terms of quality. Or rather, something different.

Its been a busy day. Not had a chance to read EG at all.
Launmch lineups normally suck ass. There is about 8 games, only 3 of which are really any good. I realise the PS3 laucnh list for us has benefitted from the delay (which in itself was not a great thing), but the end result has been a pretty comprehensive launch list. Any early adopter has a lot of choice, which is a rare thing. |
