US to get pink and blue Wii remotes

"No plans" for Europe, says Nintendo.

Nintendo Europe has "no plans" to bring the pink and blue Wiimotes to PAL regions for the time being.

The platform holder spoke as North Americans penned a new 14th February date for the coloured controllers in their diary.

That date was in amongst the full early 2010 Wii and DS line-up for the region.

Best Video Game Titles in the list... (not refering to game quality or content)

    How to Train Your Dragon
    Chicken Riot
    Rooms: The Main Building
Sled Shred featuring the Jamaican Bobsled Team (Cool Runnings: The Game FTW!)
    Surviving High School

Personally I'm looking forward to Sleepover Party's & Let's Play Ballerina's, deathmatch modes.

And Let's Play Flight Attendant sounds kinky...

    Activision
How To Train Your Dragon - March 23

Somehow I read this as "How To Drain Your Dragon"... not quite sure how this would go down mind...
  • el_pollo_diablo #4 2 years ago

I'm going to try and dedicate between 3 and 4 minutes per day until February 9 visualising the full ramifications of this "Chicken Riot"

JonFE and sadly it works, at least to some degree. When I got my N64 and they released the black controller I had to get one. And then a yellow, and finally a translucent. For my ten year old mind, that was money well spent.

Oh boy, what a list. Well, I guess everyone has been catered for.
  • Slipstream #11 2 years ago

That's FINE Nintendo. After all, the colours are just another sales gimmic anyway, we'll stick to our dodgy 3RD Party ones.

Also available in Black and Blue

Now to normal people there are going to be thoughts of "who cares?" regarding the new colours but amongst Nintendo fans and collectors these things generate massive hype and therefore profits for Nintendo. I'm sure I read once that there have been more Nintendo DS (the regular ones, not the various upgrades) units sold in Japan than there are people, which if true would suggest that owners of the handheld bought another one just to have it in another colour. Crazy.

Just what /are/ Nintendo Japan's internal development teams upto these days...?

They can't /all/ be on the likes of WarioWare and Touch Solitaire, surely!

    the shovelware keeps on coming
  • CallousB #17 2 years ago

    "I....WANT....GAMES.... ;_; "

    How about...

    A Boy and His Blob
    Rabbids Go Home
    New Super Mario Bros. Wii
    Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
    F1 2009
    Dead Space: Extraction
    LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias

All came out on the Wii in the last couple of months...all have hardcore appeal..all scored 8/10 + at Eurogamer.

As far as the game list for Q1....no complaints from me. Lots of shovelware obviously but ignore them and there are plenty of appealing titles IMO . Quite a number that should appeal to "hardcore" gamers who actually pay attention...potentially anyway.

    TATSUNOKO VS. CAPCOM: ULTIMATE ALL-STARS
    Shiren the Wanderer
    Endless Ocean: Blue World
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle
    The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces
FRAGILE DREAMS: FAREWELL RUINS OF THE MOON
    And Yet It Moves
    Calling
    Mega Man 10
    Max & the Magic Marker
    Toribash
    Military Madness: Nectaris
    Rage of the Gladiator
    WarioWare D.I.Y
    Zombie Panic in Wonderland
    Super Meat Boy
