PC News by Robert Purchese

14 May, 2008

Developer Hothead Games has said the first episode of the Penny Arcade Adventure series will be out on PC next Wednesday as well as on Xbox Live Arcade.

On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will set you back USD 19.95, and can be downloaded from the Penny Arcade digital distribution service Greenhouse.

Initial scores for the cartoon RPG-adventure are a mixed bag, and we'll be throwing in a few of our own thoughts soon.

So it's cheaper than XBLA, right? It's too early for me to do the math. Does this go for the Mac version as well?

It's the same price if you're paying Dollars, but cheaper on the PC if you pay with Pounds.

Baronen, the PC version is in fact a bundle of the PC, Mac and Linux versions - so you can play it on all three platforms for one price.

Personally I can't wait to play this. Penny Arcade is one of my favourite websites, and given their constantly insightful comment on game mechanics, I have a feeling they'll have created something very special.
