Next Tenchu title to be Wii exclusive
Nunchuk could be used as nunchuk!
The latest Famitsu has said that the next instalment of the Tenchu series will be on Wii, with no other formats mentioned.
The series, seen by many as something of a fading flower after unfavourable reviews for Tenchu Z, could be seeking a resurgence.
Wiimote-enabled ninja moves could well be a draw, with all kinds of slashing and throwing of pointy things involved, but a significant increase in quality would also be a wise move.
Aquire are currently slated as developers, with From Software taking the publishing reins.

Sure it has its faults, but no other game does ninja stealth like Tenchu. In fact no other game does ninja stealth, period.
But i don't own a Wii, i don't really want one. Guess it's goodbye then Tenchu. I hope you and Project Zero enjoy your new low rent two bed flat...

That would be the latter, i thought the next one would be on the 360 but actually take advantage of the hardware this time around.

You know.. if you keep saying it's gimmicky it MIGHT just make you forget that the only reason you like your console of choice is because of it's graphics gimmick.
ALL machines have a gimmick. But the only thing that matters are the GAMES and how well they PLAY.

Oh and the PS1 original was the best game (if a little ugly)
P.S. Demoted in terms of graphics before you start smelly

Did you see the visuals on Tenchu Z? Even a bunch of drunk programmers with no arms could do better on a Wii! As much as I loved Z, it looked sub PS2. At least this means that like you say it'll be demoted, but not all that much (apart from to SD of course). I really hope they don't prove me wrong and make it look like the first Tenchu.
