Forza pushed back to April '05

No real surprise as promising Xbox engine project takes slight release hit.

Forza Motorsport will release in April 2005, Microsoft has confirmed, a slight delay on the development team's estimated release of February.

The news comes as no shock, as Sony's ostensibly unending problems pushing rival GT4 out of the door will have alleviated the pressure on the Microsoft Game Studios project somewhat.

Forza was shown in London recently in promising form, revealing extensive online options, highly customisable technology and a garage of over 200 cars for players to get to grips with. Accurate physics modelling and almost ludicrous attention to detail should be easily enough to round off a justifiably high profile package. Waiting a few more weeks isn't the world's greatest disaster.
