Tekken coming to PSP?
So it would seem.
Word from Japan is that Namco is bringing one of the most popular fighting games of all time to the PSP.
That's according to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, which promises to reveal all the details of Tekken PSP next week. For the time being though, it's not clear whether the game will be a brand new instalment in the series, or a straight arcade port.
Our money's on the former, though - it's well-known that Sony prefers developers to create standalone games for their precious handheld, rather than just taking the porting option.
The news that Tekken is coming to PSP comes as no real surprise - after all, previous instalments in the series have been exclusive to PSone and PS2, and we already know that a PS3 Tekken game is currently in development. But it's still good to know, anyhow...

There are some decent titles coming to the PSP in the next few months. A decent version of Tekken in the next 12 months would be lurvely too.

Is it? Do people actually get excited about handheld fighting games?

Should be better then the GBA version anyhow...

I'm a casual gamer when it comes to fighting games, and I would have much more fun with the game if I could pick it up at any moment to hone my skills.
Ad-hoc would need to leave the lag at home though.

I hope its not a port of Tekken 5 as its a very good game until you reach the final cheating boss which caused the death of my joypad last week.
