Gunpey confirmed for Europe
Concrete details soon.
Namco Bandai has confirmed that PSP and DS title Gunpey will be coming to Europe.
"There will be an announcement shortly," a spokesperson told Eurogamer this morning.
Namco Bandai doesn't traditionally publish its own titles in Europe, and there's been speculation (mostly mine, I'm afraid) as to who might end up handling it. We shall know very soon.
The news comes days after Namco Bandai confirmed that it plans to release the game in the US this Christmas - with a Japanese release set for the autumn.
Gunpey is a puzzle game where players have to organise tiles on a grid so that the lines drawn on them link up horizontally across the playing area, at which point they disappear.
PSP and DS versions are planned, and you can read more about their respective features in our previous coverage.
Gunpey, brain-child of Game Boy creator Gunpei Yokoi, is in development at Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Q Entertainment studio.
