Try Act of War: High Treason

New playable demo available.

A new demo has been released for the expansion pack to PC RTS Act of War: Direct Action - and it's now available via Eurofiles.

Act of War: High Treason, which is the first expansion pack for Atari's conspiracy thriller, takes place on the eve of a US presidential election. A group of terrorists is attempting to attack both candidates, and it's your job to sort them out.

The new demo features one solo map and two multiplayer maps. You don't need Act of War: Direct Action to try it out - although the full expansion pack will only work if you have the original game.

Act of War: High Treason is due out later this month.

    Yes, these days the target with these 1GB demos is to get you excited about the game and think about downloading the demo, but then to make you think, oh what the hell, rather than download that much data for a crippled version why not go out and buy the whole deal...

    Sorry guys, but I'm on 2mb(which is pretty slow these days) and I can download 900mb in an hour.

    A 100mb demo on 56k is 5 hours.

    Stop whining, and if you cant get even basic cable, dont complain because most gamers who have internet have a decent connection.

    Buy a magazine that has a dvd with demo's, its cheaper.
