New Pirates of the Caribbean game coming
It's set before the events of the films.
Disney has announced plans to release a new game based on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Subtitled Armada of the Damned, it's an action RPG set before the events of the films. You play as a pirate faced with "numerous moral and character choices" that will affect how the story plays out. Expect an open-world to explore, complete with mystical creatures and supernatural elements.
The title is being developed by Propaganda Games, previously responsibly for the most recent instalment in the Turok series. It only managed to get 6/10 from Eurogamer, despite being about dinosaurs in space.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned is in development for PC and "next-generation consoles", and will be released in autumn 2010.

Anyway, this sounds intriguing - I'm always interested in an 'action RPG', provided it's more like Zelda and less like Too Human. I'm not going to get my hopes up for the moment though.
