Mushroom Wars, Ratchet space on PSN News

PlayStation 3 News by Tom Bramwell

15 October, 2009

We're still waiting for a full PlayStation Store update list from Sony, but in the meantime the European PlayStation Blog advises us to expect Creat Studios' latest, Mushroom Wars, and a new Ratchet & Clank space for Home.

Mushroom Wars will cost £7.99 / €9.99 and is described as a "fast-paced and accessible RTS", where up to four players fight in close quarters - on a single screen, judging by the video. There are campaign and skirmish modes along with local four-player options.

Meanwhile, the new "Gadgetron HQ" brings everyone's favourite Lombax and his robot pal to PlayStation Home with a special Ratchet outfit to find, a Ratchet apartment to hang out in, and three mini-games, including a tower defence effort known as Skunk Works.

It's all tied in to the forthcoming launch of Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, as you might imagine. That's due out for PS3 on 6th November according to retailers, which would tie in with the review embargo of next week. Look out for our thoughts then.

I know many have enjoyment with what's on there now (so please no lists) but for me Sony really need to get their act together, I've not spent a single penny on PSN for yonks. Even then I haven't bought anything other than the dregs of PS1 we are thrown (out of charity it seems) since GTi club.

Still Uncharted 2 will blow the cobwebs off in the meantime! :)

I wont make a list Bad09 but your talking crap, but i will concede it is your opinion and maybe none of them were your cup of tea. But if not, you must have a fairly limitied set of genres you like.
