More PSone games on PSN
Fade to Black, Theme Hosp, Motorhead.
Sony's PSN elves have polished up another trio of PlayStation One games and tossed them up on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable stores, hoping we won't notice that there's still no Everyday Shooter.
Still, those games are Fade to Black, Theme Hospital and Motorhead, which have an interesting if chequered history between them. Fade to Black, of course, is Delphine's sequel to Flashback, in which the man from Flashback wakes up on a spaceship, while Theme Hospital is one of the post-buyout Bullfrog games (and a goodie, if you ask me - at least on the PC) and Motorhead is a Digital Illusions (yes, them) racing game set in the future.
As PSone games on PSN, they all cost GBP 3.49 and can be downloaded up to five times onto any mixture of your PS3 and PSP that you can dream up.
It has of course been a busy few months for PSone games on PSN, which is why we've been busily rounding them up for you in review form. Most recently we've looked at Hardcore 4x4, Kula World, Populous: The Beginning, N20 and Destruction Derby. Also there are Crash Team Racing, Syphon Filter 1 and 3, Everybody's Golf 2 and Cool Boarders, while older-still titles were Crash Bandicoot, Jumping Flash and WipEout.
Meanwhile, PS3 owners are also able to get their pads on that Devil May Cry 4 demo everyone downloaded with made-up US accounts last week, and also a demo of MX vs. ATV: Untamed from THQ. One at a time, please.

I played it a few months ago on my PS2, still plays pretty well but it was never a pretty game in the first place!

However, it is NOT a sequel to Flashback. It was their follow up game but was not designed as a sequel, does not feature the same character (the first bloke was a Ginger) and does not follow the same plot/storyline. Rant over.

That was the whole point of Theme Hospital! The building and planning was all in aid of creating a building in which you could shoot rats!

Nobody on the pt boards over on playstation.com seems to notice or care (other than me). Anyone here care to point me to some official contact where I can pass on my concerns/frustration?

NO!
The limit is not on the number of downloads, it's on the number of devices!

I remember it always being a sequel. Surely no 2 people inhabiting the same universe could dress so badly?

I'd also go for some Crash Bandicoot 3, actually...
Oh, and rollcage!

Fade to black was good as well, but i fear it hasn't aged as gracefully as Theme Hospital, which still very much deserves a good sequel. Get to work already stupid devs!

Theme Hospital is still great. Fade to Black.... looks like arse, unfortunately. But it's still fairly amusing.
