Mass Effect Galaxy out for iPhone
Graphic novel with top-down shooting.
Electronic Arts has released Mass Effect Galaxy on the App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch.
The game, an animated graphic novel interspersed with top-down shooting, costs GBP 2.99. More details and screenshots can be found on the Mass Effect Galaxy App Store page (thanks VG247).
Mass Effect Galaxy follows super-powered soldier Jacob Taylor as he tries to thwart a galactic plot to erase humanity. Fans of Mass Effect will find inside information on the upcoming PC and Xbox 360 sequel and the characters who'll populate it.

As much as a story-driven RPG is perfect for the iPhone, it doesn't sound like they've done all they could with it. Still, for £2.99 I would still pick it up if only I could afford an iPhone

**ME SPOILERS**
Both Miranda and Jacob are going to be in ME2. My guess is that Miranda replaces Ashley and Jacob replaces Kaidan depending on who you killed off. Miranda is an Aussie and Jacob has a pretty funky voice. There actually seems to be some hints of a romance in between Jacob and Miranda based on stuff at the end. Companions getting down with other companions? Sounds good to me.
